Alan is described as calm and people-focused. He enjoys staying close to his humans and settles well into routine. He is not highly energetic and prefers companionship and quiet time in the garden over long, demanding adventures.
He is fully housetrained and sleeps through the night. He has interacted well with men and children.
Alan generally respects other dogs’ space and is largely uninterested in them. However, he can show dominant behaviour towards younger or smaller dogs.
For this reason, he would be happiest as an only dog or in a home without young or boisterous dogs.
He has not yet begun formal lead training and will require patient introduction to walking equipment and structured guidance as this progresses.
Alan would suit a calm, steady household looking for a relaxed companion dog who enjoys close human company and routine.
