Sophie is a 2 year old spayed female mixed breed currently in foster care in Lincolnshire. She weighs approximately 15 kg and is described as short-legged, sturdy and long-bodied. She is iElisa negative.
Sophie is a sweet-natured and affectionate girl who forms strong bonds with her people. She enjoys close companionship and will happily curl up nearby. She is gentle in her interactions and adapts well to new situations.
She is good with other dogs and enjoys their company. She can occasionally be a little bossy with smaller dogs but does not show aggression. She would also be happy living as an only dog.
Sophie is comfortable being handled and is very good at the vet. She travels well in the car and is clean in the house, sleeping through the night in her own bed.
She accepts wearing a lead but will benefit from continued lead training to build confidence and consistency when walking. She responds well to positive reinforcement and routine.
Sophie is slightly underweight at present but is steadily improving in foster care.
Sophie would suit a calm and stable home willing to continue her lead training and provide companionship and structure as she settles.
