Meet adoptable deaf 1.5 year old, deaf, Springer Spaniel mix Luna who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend and always keep her safe. Luna is looking for a home where she will be the only pet.

From her caregiver: Luna was rescued from a bad situation. We think she is a shepherd/springer spaniel mix with some great pyrenees. She is completely deaf and super smart.
She has the potential to be a great dog for a loving family. She can be very sweet and loves to cuddle. She has lots of energy and would do great on a fenced property where she has room to run.

She is uncomfortable towards our other dog and cats and she is defensive towards them, so I think she’d do better in a home with no other pets. She also displays resource guarding for things she values at times, but we manage this by keeping our other dog away when we are feeding her so an adult home with no other pets would be the best option for her.

She understands simple sign language commands and has the potential to be trained further. She loves playing fetch, and she has a knack for finding the biggest stick possible then carrying it around for hours.
She’s fully crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 to a screened and approved home only. We are about 20 minutes outside of Placerville, CA and we would want anyone interested in adopting her within a 3 hour drive of Placerville/Garden Valley, CA to be considered for adoption.
