My main event on Valentines Day was the Sniff n Go. Mom made it pretty much a mommy and me day. Once we got in the car we headed out to do some fun sniffing for practice. We love doing nose work together and it was bound to be a fun event. I love riding in the car and going anywhere pretty much…except the vet.
We arrived at the Dog Tank a bit early. My searches were scheduled at 11:30. Some friends of ours were also waiting in the parking lot, so Mom did that “chit chat” thing humans like to do. Every dog had four searches and five if you wanted to go upstairs. Well, of course, we did all five! The first two were Valentine box and bag container searches, the third search was a pile of boxes, the fourth was a bathroom.
The final search was all kids and Valentines stuff along with food distractors, dog toys and tennis balls. I very and I mean very rarely care about distractors. My job is what I do and I don’t mess with other stuff in search areas. We got a video of this search which I did pretty fast and also had fun doing. Mom loved the toy car and how I sniffed it but ignored it. Our GoPro doesn’t always get everything on film, so the two hides were the first one, in the flowers on the table and the second one in the tube base of the sign. We had fun ending our search with this one.
Next we headed out to Gramma’s house for the rest of the day. I got lots of yummy cookies from her pantry and was fascinated with the critters outside her windows. There are so many squirrels and different kinds and colors of them too! We also took a nice walk in the woods which I will post about later this week. It was a super fun Mommy and Me day for Valentines Day!
