Amos is a 15 month old male Hound Cross. This stunning boy was rescued from the municipal pound a few months ago, where he was a bag of bones, very frightened and withdrawn.
What a difference a few months can make.
With patience, kindness and lots of loving reassurance from the kennel team, Amos is no longer the scared, timid boy he was when he first arrived and is now back to a healthy weight for his breed at around 20 kilograms.
He is currently living with other dogs and has no issues. He loves to run and play with his kennel buddies. He walks well on a lead and enjoys interacting with the kennel volunteers.
Amos is ready for his forever home and would suit an active household with a secure garden where he can run, play and sniff with that hound nose.
The next freedom flight is in March and everyone would love Amos to be one of the lucky ones flying to his forever home.
