Meet adoptable deaf two year old Zeus who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend and always keep him safe.
From his rescue advocate: Zeus has spent much of his life confined to a crate jammed up close to his sibling and kept locked in a dark and airless shed in the backyard. The municipal shelter is the most luxurious place he has ever lived in and yet despite it all he is one of the sweetest and friendliest dogs we have ever met. Even though his life has been full of darkness his personality is all sunshine. He is an amazing dog.
Zeus originally lived with 3 other dogs but is the only one of the pups who is deaf.
Zeus doesn’t let his deafness hold him back at all. He was rescued from the shelter by Popo Rescue and has settled beautifully into his foster home. Whenever anyone meets him their reaction is the same – they cannot believe how sweet he is, how affectionate he is and how his joy still shines brightly despite his life circumstances.
Zeus is a smart boy. He learns very quickly and is working on learning some basic hand signals. He is crate trained and very attentive. He is also extremely fun, the kind of dog who is happy to do whatever it is you want to do that day – as long as you are doing it together he k owns he will have a wonderful time. Zeus has been underweight and enjoys his food. He is treat motivated but also cuddle motivated and when you pet him his tail wags hard enough to power an engine. Zeus is seeking a forever home where he can enjoy belly rubs, adventures and a lifetime of love.
