Rolly, known as Neeko, is a 6–7 year old neutered male medium mixed breed currently in Lincolnshire.
Neeko is a gentle and affectionate boy who thrives on human company. He enjoys being close to his people and likes to be involved in daily life. Once he feels settled and secure, his loyal and loving nature becomes very apparent.
He is great with children and enjoys their company. Neeko is good with other dogs; however, he can feel overwhelmed in large groups. He would be happiest either as the only dog in the home or living with one or two calm, friendly companions.
Neeko is not suitable to live with cats, as he will chase and reacts strongly to them when out on walks.
He walks nicely on a lead when focused. If he becomes excited by other dogs or people, he responds well to guidance and can be asked to stop, sit and refocus before continuing calmly.
Neeko does not cope well with being crated and becomes stressed, so he will need a crate-free home. He settles well once he feels safe and part of a consistent routine.
Neeko would suit a loving and stable home looking for an affectionate companion. He enjoys an active lifestyle and would thrive with adopters who can offer reassurance, structure and plenty of companionship.
