We had lots of ice outside on my walk yesterday morning. They said we would have three days with rain, sleet, ice, and maybe a touch of snow and they were right about the first three items.
Before we even went out side we had a peek at our deck and found it to be encased in ice. Mom didn’t want us to out on it as it was solid ice and the stairs as well.
Mr and Mrs Mallard seemed to be enjoying the disgusting weather. On our walk it was mainly light mist with a touch of snow flurry mixed in.
This bush was iced in. From a distance it almost looked like a bush with little lights all over it from the frozen droplets.
Going into the yard we had to push the gate hard as it was all frozen even our little sign was wrapped in ice. We anticipate more ice today and probably on Saturday too.
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
Enough of that ice outside stuff, let’s see what answers I have for the Friendly Fill Ins today. Thanks to 15 and Meowing and Four Legged Furballs for the questions.
1. My favorite Easter treat is dehydrated lamb hearts.
2. My life would be different without any siblings.
3. If I could, I would give an Easter basket full of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups to our Navigator.
4. Is it weird that I am so crazy about my sports?
