Details of Logan

Logan is a young, small Pomsky, with a beautiful long sandy coat, weighing just 10 kilos. His character is typical of the breed, curious, intelligent, energetic, and at times nervous. He is good with other dogs, but initially when meeting new dogs, he can bark at them for a bit, like Pomeranians often do, and then he relaxes, and adjusts to the situation.

Poor Logan was rescued from an illegal, terrible, breeding situation with many other similar small traumatised dogs.  He has been adopted but its not working out in his new home so they are asking us to find him something more suitable, so now he is looking for a home, who will never leave him again, and help him move into a more relaxed, happy life.

Logan could be the only dog of a home, or join a home with other friendly dogs together, For Logan we are looking for a patient family, who will appreciate that he might need a bit of time to learn all kinds of new experiences, ie walking in busy built up areas, driving in a car etc –  His shoulder height is just 41 cms. Logan walks well on a leash! And would fit better with children over 14 years and maybe an older experienced couple. We can test for cats.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog:

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. This costs £17. If you would like us to arrange this for you, at a reduced rate of £7.20, we will ask you to do a bank transfer to allow us to register the change.

Homecheck:

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks.

The adoption fee is £250.00 for transport plus an adoption fee of £250.00 depending on the breed and age of the cat.  The fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK or Paypal and covers the cost of passport, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.   There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.

If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.

If application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).

We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.

Proof of ID and landlord permission is required

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
