Howard-Wisconsin – Deaf Dogs Rock

Meet adoptable deaf 2 year old Maltese mix pup Howard who is looking for a very special home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend and making it a priority to always keep him safe. Howard is small at only 10 pounds of pure love and joy. He is neutered, crate trained and his foster family is currently working on house training (you will need to have a structured potty routine for him and be patient). Howard is also good with kids, other dogs and cats.

Howard-Wisconsin – Deaf Dogs Rock

From his rescue advocate:   Meet Howard, an adorable 2-year-old pup weighing in at 10 pounds, who is on the lookout for a loving home. This sweet boy is deaf, which means he needs a special adopter who can dedicate time, love, and patience to teach him hand signals and help him learn how to navigate the world. Howard thrives on interaction, enjoying outdoor zoomies, playing with toys, and snuggling up at night in bed. He gets along great with other dogs and cats and absolutely loves his people. He’s crate trained and making great strides in his housetraining. With his playful spirit and eagerness to learn, Howard forms deep connections with his humans, relying on eye contact and touch for communication.

****A secure fenced yard is essential for his safety, and while previous experience with deaf dogs is a bonus, a willingness to learn and provide consistent guidance is what truly matters. In return, you’ll gain a deeply connected companion who communicates in a unique and heartwarming way, feeling every ounce of love you share. Howard has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. If you would like to learn more about Howard and NCMR adoption process please call Mary Palmer at 262-800-3323.
