From his shelter advocate: Brutus is a one year old sweetheart at Maui Humane Society who experiences the world a little differently. Born deaf and slightly vision impaired, he has learned to navigate life with plenty of charm, enthusiasm, and personality. Brutus loves toys, adores people, enjoys splashing in the waves, and is always ready to be a little goofball. He is social with other dogs and has rarely met one he did not like.
Brutus is looking for a patient family willing to learn how he communicates and help him keep building confidence. He already knows sit and down with hand signals, is very food motivated, and enjoys training. He even has his own way of telling you when he needs to go out, with two little barks before potty time. He is still young and can be jumpy, play mouthy, and playful with the leash at times, but it all comes with the fun loving puppy package.
