Tuna is a 7-year-old female Griffon. Born on 30/01/2019, she is currently in a rescue in the North of Spain and urgently needs a forever home. She weighs 27.5kg and is described as a pretty girl who has sadly lost everything familiar to her.
She was originally abandoned by a hunter when she was just 2 years old. After that, she was adopted by a lovely person and finally experienced life as a cherished family dog.
Heartbreakingly, her adopter has since passed away, leaving Tuna alone once again and back in rescue.
Tuna was used to living in a home environment and had settled into domestic life. She even had a furry sibling who later passed away from old age, so she has experience living both alone and with another dog.
Now, instead of a warm house, she finds herself in a cold and unfamiliar rescue setting.
She is clearly accustomed to people and home comforts. She loves the sofa, enjoys her walks, and also appreciates time to relax. Her nature is described as super loving, kind and balanced, which paints the picture of a steady and affectionate companion.
Tuna is sociable with children and can live with other dogs, as well as cats. She is very much a family dog who thrives on companionship and routine.
At the moment, she is understandably sad after losing her home and security.
Tuna urgently needs a family to restore the comfort and stability she once knew. Full rescue back-up is provided, offering support to ensure her next home is truly her forever one.
She has already endured significant loss, and she deserves a warm, loving place to finally settle for good.
