Blackie is a 3 year old male Shar Pei Cross with a pleasant character who loves being loved with strokes and hugs.
His lead training is a work in progress and will get better when he learns to focus and overcome his excitement about all the new experiences while out walking; we do not think he was walked at all in his previous home.
You may have noticed Blackie has a disability in his front left leg, which it is thought he was born with; however, it does not hold him back and he gets around remarkably well, which is generally the case with disabled dogs.
He does not want to climb mountains, but a couple of walks daily in parks, fields, or woods would suit him nicely.
We do not have any history on Blackie and are still getting to know the young boy, so things like whether he is cat-friendly are unknown, but he could live with teenage children.
