3 year old female Cross-Breed available for adoption

Zara is a 3 year old female Cross-Breed who measures 40 cm and is on the smaller side of medium.

Zara was found abandoned in Romania as a tiny puppy and was taken to a private shelter where she has remained for the last three years.

She spends her life in a very cold kennel with two other dogs. The volunteers all work, so the dogs only get a visit twice a day where they are let out for a run, then back into their kennels again.

Zara is very lonely and would love a home. She is always so happy to see the volunteers. In the picture, you can see Zara’s pen after the snow had melted.

It lacks a full roof as the rescue cannot afford good kennels for all the dogs. They have around 160 dogs and only 40 of them have proper kennels.

Zara is spayed and vaccinated, and she will be tested for Brucellosis. The test is now sent to the UK prior to travel and, if negative, a dog must travel within 30 days of the test.

She will also receive further blood tests in Romania, will be microchipped, and will have a passport.

If you can offer this absolutely lovely girl a forever home, please get in touch. She will make the most wonderful companion and light up your life. A home check is required and her adoption fee is £550. She will be transported to your home.

For further details about adopting a dog from Dogs Haven Rescue, please contact j.acmac@hotmail.co.uk or 07486 072548.

Our aim is to find loving forever homes for the dogs in our care, many have travelled a very long and hard road to get here, often from situations where the alternative would have been death. We only wish the cruelty they have endured would stop and hope to show them that there is a better way with good and kind people.

Please note, all dogs will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered before rehoming (if old enough). Full post adoption support is offered.
