Meet Callum, a 2 year 1 month old male Cross-Breed who is medium in size and currently lives at the Nicosia Sanctuary in Cyprus.
It feels especially fitting that the vet estimated Callum’s birthday as Christmas Day, and he has affectionately been nicknamed Mr Callum Clause.
Callum appeared outside the sanctuary one day, likely drawn by the sound of the other dogs. He was immediately friendly, and as he had no microchip and no one came forward to claim him, he was taken under the wing of SPDC.
This boy often looks bigger in photos than he actually is, but he is one of the smaller dogs at the sanctuary. Although he is not a large dog, he is one of the biggest softies and is incredibly loving.
He happily greets people for cuddles and would quite contentedly be a lap dog if allowed.
Callum has been dog tested and, even when Coco was being enthusiastic, he was happy to ignore her. He can be a little unsure of a harness and lead but was comfortable walking with someone he knows well.
With bonding and consistency, he is expected to adapt quickly and walk happily on the lead.
Callum is a very friendly and affectionate dog and would happily live in a home with children or with an older companion. If you are looking for a calm, loving companion, Callum could be the perfect match.
SPDC adoption package and home checks apply.
