Megan is a 2-year-old female Lurcher. She is a little shy at first but quickly comes out of her shell once she feels comfortable. Megan loves attention and enjoys spending time with people who show her patience and care.
She would love a home with another resident dog of similar size, as she can become a bit too much for smaller dogs when playing.
Megan travels reasonably well in the car, though she can pant due to a little anxiety, likely stemming from being dumped out of a car in the past.
When she was first found, Megan was extremely underweight, but after a few months in foster care, she is now in perfect health. She enjoys her daily walks and walks nicely on a lead, showing that she adapts well to routines and guidance.
Megan also loves playing with her soft toys, receiving treats, and having a cosy spot on the sofa. She appreciates wearing jumpers on walks or in cooler environments as she feels the cold more easily than other dogs.
She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, making her ready to move straight into her forever home. Megan would thrive in a household with children aged eight and over, providing she receives the gentle approach she needs.
She is currently in Cambridgeshire and is eagerly waiting for a family who can offer her warmth, love, and companionship.
