Juancho is an 11-year-old male Beagle. He is currently in rescue care and waiting for a new home after a big change in his life.
He previously lived indoors with his owner, but sadly his owner passed away. Afterwards he was kept tied outside on a chain because he would escape, and he has now been taken in by a shelter to help him find a proper home.
Juancho is very sociable with people and enjoys human company. He is also friendly with children and gets along well with both male and female dogs.
He is frightened of storms and loud bangs, which suggests he benefits from reassurance during noisy situations. A calm environment will help him feel secure.
At the moment he weighs 30 kg and is on a diet to reach a healthier condition. Like many Beagles, he follows his nose constantly and finds it hard to stay still for photographs.
He is used to living inside a home and would likely adapt well to a domestic routine again. Consistency and comfort will help him settle after the changes he has experienced.
He simply needs a family willing to give him stability and companionship for his retirement years. With kindness and patience, he should make a loyal and affectionate companion.
Full rescue back up is provided to support both Juancho and his adopters.
