Mackie is a 10 year old female Pug Cross Jack Russell Terrier who lives for cuddles and being close to her people. If your idea of happiness is a warm little body curled up beside you on the sofa, she might just be your perfect match.
This sweet girl will happily follow you from sofa to bed, simply content to be by your side.
Mackie has previously lived with cats and could do so again. She is good with other dogs when introduced calmly.
She can sometimes feel a little frustrated on the lead, as she used to enjoy being off lead, but she has made amazing progress in foster and is continuing to progress well with her training.
She would thrive as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love, but would also be happy to have visiting and walking buddies.
Mackie is on a special diet of Harrington’s Salmon Superfood to manage her allergies, which are fully under control without medication. She is kept on a strict diet, although she does have a soft spot for raw carrots.
She still has that cheeky sparkle and loves exploring just as much as she enjoys her cosy indoor chill time — the perfect mix of fun and snuggles.
She could live with children aged 8 years and over and is looking for a calm, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort, care, and affection.
Senior dogs have so much love to give, and Mackie is ready to give hers to someone special.
